Intervolve supports five separate Nalibali programmes, which offer literacy reading groups to 130 children for an hour every week.
The children participate in fun education activities, are read to, and are encouraged to read themselves.
A children’s library was launched, and there are 84 children currently registered and are actively reading.

Homework Centre

Homework centres allow the Own Haven staff to assist young learners with their homework. Own Haven staff volunteer their time to assist with homework, read storybooks, and encourage learning, demonstrating meaningful involvement.

Hope Academy is an independent Christian school in Central Gqeberha that provides quality, Bible-based academic education to underprivileged primary school learners with a mission of keeping them off the street.
Intervolve provides a nutritious meal Monday – Friday, which improves mental health, enhances cognitive skills like concentration and boosts academic performance.
